GWC Community Services (Greek Welfare Centre) is the Community and Social Welfare Services arm of the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of Australia.
GWC Community Services is a not for profit organisation that provides services and programs to meet the needs of individuals, children and families, the frail aged, people with dementia and their carers.
We work in partnership with a range of government and non government service providers to deliver high quality and supportive services to people from diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds, and to the community at large.
This page is dedicated to the October 2021 Community Awareness Month. We invite you to discover our services, join us in celebrating national and international welfare days, and learn more about social and community issues.
"The work of the Greek Welfare Centre is unique not only because we serve people, but because we serve within the context of the Church, and the person within the embrace of the Church takes on special value, as the human being is the image of God for us.”
